We have had water issues in the canyon today and had to lower the water. It will be restored this evening. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We are having a chemical cleaning due to the amount of moss piling up. The water will be turned off Tuesday evening 6/22 and turned back on Friday morning. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Below is a statement from Roy Moses, President of Squaw Creek Ditch, on the many reasons that contributed to increased assessments that impacted all shareholders this year.
I hope this answers some of the questions and brings understanding and unity in our purpose of delivering water.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL STOCKHOLDERS that at the annual meeting of the stockholders held on February 1, 2021, resulted in an Annual Assessment of $30.00 per acre/share and an Account Fee (formerly known as EMF fee) payment of $400.00 per Shareholder was levied upon the stockholders of the Company.
New rates on title transfers and a subdividing fees can be found here.
Rates have gone up this year due to unexpected expenses; legal fees and repairs and maintenance. See Roy Moses’s statement on the issues here.
Invoices to the shareholders will be mailed the week of February 10 and payments should be received in our PO box no later than March 15, 2021. A 12% late fee will be imposed if not paid timely.
To be a part of these meetings and have your vote count, please attend every first Monday in February. Notices of the meeting are made via robocall, our website, Facebook, snail mail notice and postings all over Sweet.
The annual ditch meeting will be held on Monday, February 1st at Syringa Hall, 7pm. We will also mail out reminders to all shareholders. Spread the word, see ya there!
We will be having an emergency chemical cleaning starting Friday evening. Please shut off your headgates by 7pm and do not use the water. The ditch will be turned back on Monday morning and the ditch water will be safe to use. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We will begin demossing the ditch starting Friday, July 10. Please expect no water for 4-5 days.
